Renewed the participation in the network of professional institutes for training in tourism sector
Tuscan Professional Technical Pole agreement, called "Tourism, hotels and cultural heritage", was renewed.
The network project between public and private entities born in 2014 with the aim of encouraging aggregations between training institutions, companies and territorial associations for the construction of sectoral chains that favor the formation of skills for needs of the territories.
The agreement - headed by the Giorgio Vasari high school in Figline Valdarno - was signed for six years by 12 other subjects including professional institutes, bodies, associations and local businesses. In addition to the Tourism Study Center in Florence, Human Company, the Florentine group active in hospitality and catering and leader in Italy in open-air hospitality, also confirmed its commitment among the original promoters of the project. Human Company confirms its presence within the network that determines tourism training policies in Tuscany.
Human Company, which in Tuscany has two structures in the district of Figline and Incisa Valdarno and another three between Florence and the provinces of Livorno and Pisa, provides with this agreement a concrete contribution in terms of orientation and needs of the sector, in order to combine demand of the market with training programs.
Ilaria Bigliazzi, HR Director of Human Company, said: "Networking is very important in this time: it is one of the ways to emerge strengthened from this crisis, which has seen tourism involved since the beginning. We believe in it and want to collaborate with other companies and institutions because the sharing of knowledge and good practices can make the entire sector grow.
As a demonstration of our belief in training, Human Company is planning training courses with interprofessional and Anpal funds for the training of the various internal professional figures and for the training of talents. Whoever does not train, stops ».
Aldo Frigeri, Training Director of the Florence Tourist Studies Center, commented: "I express great satisfaction for the reconfirmation of Human Company, given the importance and specific weight that the Group has today in the sector in Tuscany. Furthermore, starting from the primary function of the project aimed at encouraging a better meeting between the world of work and the world of training, I would like to underline the role that the Polo can play in overcoming the crisis and in view of the recovery in terms of employment, especially for young people ".
In addition to training young people, presenting projects and innovating, the agreement aims to create strategic opportunities for a sector that, despite the crisis, is moving fast and is ready to restart in a new way that is more responsive to changing needs.
Currently , we are working on a project, based on a public advice from the Tuscany Region, aimed at improving the digital skills of young people and teachers and thus responding to the new needs that the health emergency has imposed.
